Is there any relationship between where The Wank takes place, and which cat gets taken out?
Is there any way to target a particular cat?

Re: Proximity
Sat, October 18, 2003 - 7:30 AMGood question. In our studies thus far, we haven't been able to pinpoint exact proximities. We do believe that there is a connection, however.
And remember, it's not just a cat, it's a kitten. -

Re: Proximity
Sat, October 18, 2003 - 8:06 AMDoes that mean adult cats are safe? Yay! -

Re: Proximity
Sun, October 19, 2003 - 3:16 PMThat's what I'm guessing Fred. I think it also has to do with the fact that we can usually throttle a small contingency of domo-kuns. They just don't send them out for us. -
-
Re: Proximity
Sun, October 19, 2003 - 5:36 PMAlso, I think if we send out enough "God kills a domokun" picture...there won't be any of them to kill kittens! -
-
Re: Proximity
Sun, October 19, 2003 - 9:24 PMMaybe if we educate the kittens, you know, teach them how to fight domokuns and fill them in on the secret (we have much sharper pointy bits), then we can prevent the impending extinction of all kittens. -

Re: Proximity
Tue, October 21, 2003 - 2:48 AMUh, I think God would find a new way to kill kittens. The Domo-kuns are just the instruments of Divine Justice, of which there are many.
Or, to put it another way, "My name is Legion"

Re: Proximity
Mon, October 20, 2003 - 12:04 AMAh, yes, Mr. Bond. You see, this is where you have miscalculated. You see, kitten-hood is determined in the heart. It resides near where Lady Miss Kier has determined "groove" to reside. The simple test for whether or not a feline falls to the cat or kitten is not age, but playfulness and what scientists are referring to "cutetude."
Have one of your human servants toss a ball of string in front of you. If you pounce, odds are you're still a kitten. Likewise if you feel an urge to stick your head in any paper bag left lying on the floor, you are still in danger of a visit from some jizz-issued domo-kun.
Now you know.
And knowing's half the battle. -

Re: Proximity
Wed, October 22, 2003 - 11:12 PMWell, at this point we are just talking semantics. I've never heard through the kitty network of a full grown feline being taken out by domo-kuns, whether they were young at heart or not. (Unless you count the horrid incident of 2001 involving the mighty Flash cat. 400 domo-kuns v. one 20 lb. cat. He nearly made it, but alas not. RIP.) -

As if
Thu, October 23, 2003 - 1:17 AMTo paraphrase the Emperor, your faith in your friends will be your undoing.
You reliy on the kitty grapevine for intel, but how often are cats or kitties known to be free flowing with the information? Good grief, the big attraction of cats is the aloofness and mystery. Once you've got cats panicked, mewling about how Domo-kuns are on the prowl, that air of predator-superiority is blown!
Further, you deny the possibility of the connection to "cat spirit" or what the the Domo-kun's secretly refer to as "neko no seishin" or "nekodamashi" -- You do so at your own peril. I've seen the little guys drunk after a hard day, perched atop the bar-top at one of the many standing-bars in Osaka. They laugh at the state of denial while casually flipping their still-warm trophy bits from fingerless paw to fingerless paw. -

Re: As if
Tue, October 28, 2003 - 9:02 PMAh, but our communications systems are growing, and rapidly at that. Hey, we got the internet now, don't we? It is true, in the past we haven't been exactly talkative, at least not out in the open. It always had to be meetings in the past, usually quiet (and they still are for the most part.), coupled with a few whispered meows.
A larger part of that was the simple fact that the domo-kun threat wasn't as pervasive. We have a common enemy now, so things are a bit more cordial than in the past.
As for the myth of the 'cat spirit', we are well aware of the situation. Have been for a long time. It's not spoken about in the open. Whether true or not, we take the necessary precautions regardless. -

Re: As if
Tue, October 28, 2003 - 9:51 PMKitties on the internet? I thought that the internet was the cause of all the fapping that has caused the whole danger to cats in the first place. Kitties. Whatever. It's nice to hear that you cool cats are out there, using the "tools" of your opponents against them.
It is truly a surprise to hear so much has changed since I lived with a cat. It just goes to show how far out of the cat-loop I've fallen. I miss you guys!
A truly heartwarming response. That was amazing, Grace. -

Re: As if
Wed, October 29, 2003 - 9:45 PMMy human has a fraction of the # of friends I have found on tribe.net. It's all about the cats! Luckily I can warn her if the domokuns decide to go after people.
I know, not so heartwarming. Sorry. -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: "The Domokuns are Bastards!"
Thu, November 27, 2003 - 1:51 AMHey, if you had to full-body shampoo and condition every day, you'd be cranky, too.
And remember, it's just their JOB!
